Traconin hallitus on hakemassa verottajalta ennakkoratkaisua. Oletuksena on, että Tracon tulee jatkossa olemaan alv-velvollinen. Osana varautumista verottajan päätökseen, olemme päättäneet valita turvallisemman suunnan ja toimia vuonna 2026 kuin olisimme alv-velvollisia. Tämä vaikuttaa muun muassa Traconin hinnastoon.
Muutos tulee näkymään esimerkiksi tapahtumalippujen, taidekujapöytien ja myyntipaikkojen osalta hintojen korotuksena, sillä alv-velvollisina joudumme lisäämään arvonlisäveron hintoihimme. Toisaalta Tracon voi alv-velvollisena vähentää joitain veroja omissa kustannuksissaan, joten korotus hintoihin ei välttämättä ole suoraan niin suuri kuin veroprosentti sanoisi.
A change in the taxation of Tracon
The Board of Tracon is in the process of seeking a preliminary ruling from the Finnish Tax Administration. The expected result is that in the future, Tracon will be subject to Value Added Tax. As a part of our preparations for the ruling, we have decided to play it safe in 2026, and act as if we were already liable to pay VAT. This will affect, among other things, the price list of Tracon.
The change will be reflected as an increase in the pricing of, for example, tickets, and stalls in the Artist Alley and Vendors’ Hall, for the liability to pay VAT means that we need to add it to the prices. However, Tracon will be able to deduct some expences from taxes so the increase may not be as high as the VAT itself.
